Dixie Darlin'

I'm back from Boerne! It was a good trip. It seems that everytime I go there, I stay up late and wake up early. I am always exhausted from trying to see everyone, but I love seeing everyone. What to do?

I ran into Genevieve and she invited me to her birthday dinner Sunday night, so I go to visit with some old "hill" friends which was fun! Rachelle is back in Texas ("She always comes at just the right time." - Jody Miles) for a little while, which was a surprise to me. Good times with old friends.


Mason decided to come to town the same weekend as I did so that we could spend some time with our family group. I absolutely love those kids. There were a few students who weren't in our group, but we brought 'em along on our crazy scavenger hunt around Boerne anyway :)



Yesterday, when I was at the bank, I saw a dog running around in the parking lot. After making lots of phone calls and trying to find her owner, I decided to bring her home to the family :0) I call her Dixie. She's really sweet, but she keeps getting out of the yard, so today I had to call the Animal Shelter to come and pick her up because I couldn't let her keep getting out and get hit by a car.
