"I'm Busted..."

So, my family has been going through Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University and I have gotten on a strict budget. I think it will be good for me. I hate money. I avoid messing with it at all costs. But sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Its funny because he talks about how different personalities handle money. And my family keeps telling me that I am a free spirit (not focused, irresponsible, just wants to have fun)...and if you were only looking at my finances, it would appear that way. But in most areas of my life, I am the responsible, controlled individual. I think it is because I don't enjoy trying new things. I like to stick to what I'm good at. Because handling money has been an area of failure in the past for me, I think I have just given up and approached it with an attitude of "whatever". But that's not typically my approach to life, so I am going to do better. I am going to face my fears and conquer them.
